Join us for an awesome week of fun and fundamentals! Kids learn the introductory elements of our tennis program in a safe, fun environment, with the supervision of certified coaches. We offer 1/2 day sessions in the morning and afternoon that include 2 hours of tennis daily and golf sessions at our onsite, professional driving range. The camp provides a perfect opportunity for children who are new to tennis to have some fun learning the basics with professional staff in a safe environment. We hope you will join us!
Dear Students and Parents,
Over the years we have enjoyed a really successful summer camp program and have loved the feedback from everyone but going into this season, we have a few restrictions and challenges that have forced us to restructure the program.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, we do not plan on running a large-scale, full day-camp this season. Instead, we will be offering half-day camps for recreational level children who are either completely new to the sport or have limited tennis experience. We also have a full schedule of tennis classes for children and adults at all levels which is a great option for our past camp participants who really enjoyed the sport.
Our highly revised schedule for the outdoor season will include a balance of high-performance programs for our performance students, academy classes and a new summer camp program with a maximum ratio of 6 children per group and only 3 groups running at any one time.
Camps will run for half days only. Morning sessions from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and afternoon sessions from 1:30 to 4:30 pm. Each day will consist of two hours of tennis and one hour of golf (less breaks for water and shade). The golf component gives the kids a break from tennis and helps to add some variety and interest!
Tennis instruction is on a par with our academy classes. Golf instruction is limited to the basics; we cover proper stance, grip and some other basic information but the general intent is to have some fun and to have a break from the tennis courts. In past seasons, the golf component was always one of the most popular activities!
The camps will run rain or shine and all efforts will be made to be outside as much as possible. If we are forced inside by inclement weather, everyone will wear a mask and have assigned seating that assures safe spacing. Indoor activities will be led by the teaching staff and children will be monitored carefully.
Campers will generally have exclusive access to the Clubhouse if it rains. All other teaching programs are weather dependent and if it does rain, parents of those students will be required to pick up their children immediately, leaving only campers and camp staff in the Clubhouse.
